We are MIFA. A colourful gathering of friends across the faiths of Medway.
Founded in 2009 and affiliated with the UK interfaith network tradition, we exist to advance friendship, dialogue and mutual respect across our towns.
Our story
Rooted in Medway. Open to the world.
MIFA grew from a simple conviction: that lasting peace in our towns begins with lasting friendships between neighbours. Today we host monthly forums, an annual Walk for Peace, and reciprocal visits to places of worship.
We do this in a setting where the deeply-held convictions of each person are respected — and where we discover, again and again, how much we hold in common.
